In the aftermath of a devastating fire at 80 Madison St. in Chinatown June 20, Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE) and Renaissance Economic Development Corporation (an AAFE affiliate) updated the community on efforts to support displaced families and to assist delivery workers in transitioning to safe and compliant e-bikes.

Applications are now being accepted for rental apartments in Harlem. Monthly rent and income requirements for these apartments vary -but generally speaking - the rents range from $702-$1,290 per month.
AAFE receives $250,000 "Housing for Everyone" grant from TD Charitable Foundation
A $250,000 grant from the TD Charitable Foundation will allow AAFE to expand an innovative Repair Fund Program, which began as pilot project designed to create new affordable housing for formerly homeless individuals and families.
