MTA Reduced Fare Application Assistance
The first Tuesday of each month, AAFE staff members in our Chinatown office are available to help eligible community members sign up for reduced fare MetroCards. Applicants must be 65+ or have qualifying disabilities. Only the first 20 people can be accommodated each month - first come, first-served. Location: 111 Division St., Chinatown. Time: 10 am - noon.

12/4 Free Legal Clinic (Flushing)
AAFE, the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY), and Council Member Sandra Ung have teamed up for a legal clinic in our Flushing community center. We offer free 30 minute consultations with AABANY's volunteer attorneys on a range of legal issues. Services are available in Chinese, Korean, and Spanish. 12/18 Housing 101 Workshop (Jackson Heights)
In this housing workshop in Jackson Height, participants will learn about different apartment types, leases, tenant rights, and how to make an apartment complaint. The first 20 participants will receive free food baskets! This housing workshop series is co-sponsored by Senator Mike Gianaris and Council Member Shekar Krishnan. The workshop will be conducted in Spanish. Location: 3761 84th St, Jackson Heights, NY 11372 Time: 6:00pm
