The first Tuesday of each month, AAFE staff members in our Chinatown office are available to help eligible community members sign up for reduced fare MetroCards. Applicants must be 65+ or have qualifying disabilities. Only the first 20 people can be accommodated each month - first come, first-served. Call (212) 979-8988 to reserve your spot. AAFE, the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY), and Council Member Sandra Ung have teamed up for a legal clinic in our Flushing community center. We offer free 30 minute consultations with AABANY's volunteer attorneys on a range of legal issues. Services are available in Chinese, Korean, and Spanish. Join AAFE in celebrating the Year of the Snake with Councilmember Diana Ayala and Union Settlement Association! The event is open to all. Come enjoy the festivities with your family and friends.
