AAFE has been able to effectively meet the housing needs of a tri-state clientele base through the work of our affiliate organization,
AAFE Community Development Fund (AAFE CDF). As the first homeownership center serving the Asian American community in New York City,
AAFE CDF is a national partnership between the federal government, financial institutions and community-based organizations to
expand housing opportunities in under-served communities. AAFE CDF provides full cycle (pre-and post-purchase) homeownership services
and offers education through various workshops and seminars.
AAFE CDF serves to educate and counsel low- and moderate - income families on their rights, responsibilities and options when buying
or owning a home. In addition, AAFE CDF provides a variety of loan products designed to make homeownership affordable to a wide range of clients.
AAFE CDF is a richly experienced organization in the field of homeownership outreach, education, and counseling.
In our eight-year history, the AAFE CDF has secured over $139 million in mortgage financing for over 1100 clients,
while providing counseling to some 5000 more prospective homeowners.
