The first Tuesday of each month, AAFE staff members in our Chinatown office are available to help eligible community members sign up for reduced fare MetroCards. Applicants must be 65+ or have qualifying disabilities. Only the first 20 people can be accommodated each month - first come, first-served. Call (212) 979-8988 to reserve your spot. Location: 111 Division St., Chinatown. Time: 10 am - noon.

AAFE's food pantry will be held at our Jackson Heights office: 📍 37-61 84th St, Jackson Heights, NY 11372 🕐 Thursday, April 9 at 1pm-3pm The pantry is first come, first serve. AAFE is launching monthly food pantry programming at our Jackson Heights office to help combat food insecurity in our local community. Please see the flyer for future pantry dates.

This housing workshop (delivered in Spanish) will take place on Wednesday, April 15. The topic is Leases. The first 20 participants will receive baskets of free food. AAFE and the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) have teamed up for a monthly legal clinic in our Lower East Side community center.  We offer free 30 minute consultations with AABANY's volunteer attorneys on a range of legal issues.  First come, first serve. No need to make an appointment in advance. Location: 111 Norfolk St., Manhattan; Time: 6:30-8:30 PM.
